You know, after finishing Book 6, I've been wondering a bit about the Weasleys' future, and here is my opinion: Ginny almost died in Chamber. Arthur almost died in OotP. Ron and Bill almost died in HBP. I think it's ok to assume (thought not 100% foul-proof) that none of them are going to die in the last book. So, that means that either Molly, one of the twins, Charlie (though he appeared so little that I doubt it) or Percy will die. And as much as Percy would be the more expendable one, I think that just because of that he won't die. So, it's either Molly, the heart of the family no matter how annoying she can be to her sons, or one (or both) twins, which is heart-wrenching! :(

At least, BILL DID NOT DIE, Flora! XD Of course, I was devastated because he had been bitten, and quite worried that he might become a werewolf, but it seems he won't!

Now as for Remus... Someone HAS to write a fic where we see him mouring Sirius, getting drunk, waking up beside a naked Tonks (and maybe with her har as dark as Sirius') much to his surprise and desmay, Tonks falling in love with him but not being corresponded, the scene in the Hospital Wing, Remus completeting his excuses with the REAL reason he can't be with Tonks ("too gay"), and then Tonks deciding he will be her best gay friend and holding hands with him at Dumbledore's funeral just as FRIENDS! Phew! ;)

At last, but not least! As I thought when I read the initials over and over again, and as everybody is saying, it's GOT to be Regulus! And as many people pointed out and I didn't remember, they found a locket in Grimmauld Place at the beginning of OotP, and it could be Voldie's Horcrux. I think Regulus used Kreacher to help him get the locket, and maybe, MAYBE, he has left some diary/instructions behind telling where are the other Horcruxes, or how to look for them. Or maybe he is Stubby Boardman and he in person is going to tell Harry how to find them. ;)

I can remember reading a post OOTP fic that was actually quite similar to that. (Aside from the funeral scene obviously.) Tonks had feelings for Remus and knew she'd never get anywhere with him because he's gay but then one night they both got drunk and she woke up (it was told from her POV) completely freaked out because he was next to her naked. She didn't remember anything and neither did he but they gradually became friends through that experience. There was also something about her metamorphasizing (sp?) to look like Sirius as part of the grieving process.

I'll have to see if I can find it.

They found an unpleasant-looking silver instrument, something like a many-legged pair of tweezers, which scuttled up Harrys arm like a spider when he picked it up, and attempted to puncture his skin. Sirius seized it and smashed it with a heavy book entitled Nature's Nobility: A Wizarding Genealogy. There was a musical box that emitted a faintly sinister, tinkling tune when wound, and they all found themselves becoming curiously weak and sleepy, until Ginny had the sense to slam the lid shut; a heavy locket that none of them could open; a number of ancient seals; and, in a dusty box, an Order of Merlin, First Class, that had been awarded to Sirius's grandfather for 'services to the Ministry'.

THAT locket. :p

Surprisingly enough, we'd got the same idea about 'R.A.B'. I mean, from what reliable fonts do we know he chickened out? Who knows that he wasn't eliminated by getting rid of the Horcrux?
