THANK YOU everyone for your congratulations on your last post! I'm so incredibly happy - although I don't think the full extension of what I accomplished has hit me yet. Not only I passed to a medical residence at my old university, but this is the 2nd best residence in my area in Brazil, losing only to one in another state to where I was not ready to move, leaving my family and boyfriend behind!

GAH! *is happy* My Christmas present arrived earlier this year! ;) Speaking abot it, since I don't know if I will be able to post tomorrow night, I want to wish you all a MERRY CHRISTMAS! :D

YAY! More regarding the SR sequel!

While some "Superman Returns" viewers objected to the addition of an illegitimate child of Lois Lane and Superman (which never appeared in any of the comic books), Singer intends to proceed with that story arc. "There's a lot of room to go with that character and his upbringing and human background and Krypton heritage," he says. "He's the genetic material of both parents. Superman doesn't have that. It's hard to write for Superman. He's a tough character to create insurmountable obstacles for. This one is unique and insurmountable." For the sequel, Singer will be able to expand and play around with what he's introduced, and "bring in more of the energy" of the contemporary comics, he promised.

Still no Superman Returns showing in any movie theaters around here yet.

Yesterday I bought SET, a brazillian movie magazine, because this month their edition has a special report about Superman Returns. I have to say that it gave me some hope - but also dread because I don't want to have hight expectations about it for fear I will hate it. But it gave me hope nevertheless - after all, the scriptwriters of SR are the same scriptwriters who wrote X2 and THAT movie is marvellous.

Well, we'll have to wait and see. Anyway, this isn't the main reason I'm posting this.

I haven't written any fic in YEARS - quite literally. But all this excitement - and, in my case, worry - about Superman Returns gave me a plot bunny I couldn't resist.
