Yeah, it's been two weeks since I last posted - I think. I remember those days when I posted almost daily! I miss those days. I had a calmer life. :P

News, news, what news do I bring you? Well, not much, except that I finished SG-1 season 9 and SGA season 2!

I liked season 9, but it definitely didn't feel like SG-1 - until the very ending, that is, and it stil missed something - or rather someone.

Don't get me wrong, I liked it, but it felt more like Ben Browder really really REALLY wanted to be part of SG-1 when he discovered they had cancelled the series, so he bugged them until they let him have the show for him - yeah, much like Cameron did IN the show. BUT since I love him since his John Crichton days, it was fun for me to watch a litle bit more of him. But John is MUCH bigger and better than Cameron, obviously.

A fun part was Vala. After years used to Aeryn Battle Mode ON at ALL THE TIMES, to see Claudia Black playing a senseless and heartless woman was actually fun! I kept cracking up with her jokes or nonsense comments! AND in that episode near the ending, when she is in Daniel's body, enters the man lockers, and start apraising Crichton Cameron's features under that towel? FANTASTIC! I cracked up laughing!

Daniel, well, I love Daniel. And I almost cried - had I not been at work - when Alternate Universe!Janet appeared...and when they hugged at the very end...*snif* SOOOO poignant and beautiful! Ripple Effect was probably my favorite episode of the season. Loved to see her and Martouf alive!

OH, that reminds me of a few very interesting loose lines! First, Carter belonged to someone else than Martouf, then she was away on her honeymoon, and then on a maternity leave. Dare I ask who is responsible for all three in all three different alternate universes?

I think I'm either finally getting what T'ealc is in the show for and laughing with him everytime he speaks, or he just succeded in trying to fill Jack's void.

Yeah, that's a problem with this season. A big one. Not so much during the season - Hello? ORI ANNOYING FROM HELL KEEP ME DISTRACTED ENOUGH COMPLAINING ABOUT THEM - but at the very end, when they are trying to save the world again? It's WRONG that Jack isn't there to help them! I kept hoping he would appear sometime to save his girlfriend friends!

I do have to say that the battle in the last episode was great. Not nearly as great as the one in Antactica, but...it was great.

Another character I grew fond of was Ba'al. Because, frankly? Ori are SO STOOPID that they make the G'oauld look AWESOME! And he is dashing, I have to admit. :P

Now, I'm just happy that Claudia is a regular in season 10 - from which I've watched the first couple of episodes.

As for SGA - season 2 is definitely better than season 1, but like I had been warned, we see very little character development. I still like McKay, although I see dtissagirl's point of view - yes, he is a petty man who thinks way too much of himself, but I find him funny. And, not quite like me as I thought before - to your relief! ;)

But it's kinda getting old to see that everytime they get in a jam, John expects McKay to solve whatever problem they are faced with.

Episodes I liked, let's see...Siege, Duet (that was a riot!), Aurora, Grace under Pressure (yes, even with the stereotype!Sam), The Long Goodbye (just because of the kiss! XD), Michael...

OH, and I saw that whole Wraith!Michael a mile away - as well as G'oauld!Skinner - but I thought it was well handled. Is it wrong that I like him and hope he could be accepted among the Atlantians?

LJ Strike is an interesting concept, I think the official start time for me would be 10 hours later so 10am till 10am on Fri->Sat. I'll make note of it, I think if it helps a cause (I'm not renewing my paid account status in May as LJ really hasn't done well in the last year and I'm not content in giving them more dosh) I'll do it. :)
