GREAT episode and way to end before fall break!
I KNEW Bellick would not only go to FOX RIVER, but would be put into Avocado's cell! XD It just bugs me that he didn't try to use an alibi in his trial - he was in the hospital when Roy was killed!
T-Bag is killing left and right, isn't he? I know he is funny and that people like him because of that, and that the actor is a very nice person, but T Bag just irks me.
Michael IS smart! He knew it was a trap - but I also loved how Linc asked to try and do things HIS way - fighting! :D
Poor Sarah! Her call to Michael was bittersweet! Is she going to try and dissappear now or is she going to try and find out what her father locked way with that key?
AND KELLERMAN! OMFG! For a moment I thought Mahone would do that - kill Kellerman and pair up with Michael and Lincoln to get Kim off his back - but it was KELLERMAN! When he gave the shot and the camera focused on Linc, for a moment I thought Michael was dead, but he wasn't! IT WAS SCARY!MAHONE who was dead! KELLERMAN is on Michael and Linc's side! - sort of, he just did that because he was betrayed - and they can bring down the company and the president! I do think we will have many issues to fix before the end though - I can just picture Linc and Michael with Kellerman as tag along reuniting with LJ and him shouting "HE KILLED MY MOTHER!"
Is it January yet? At least this ended in a - sort of - happy note! XD
It was a GREAT episode!
Hiro and Charlie storyline was bittersweet, and I thought it was fitting, for a hero's journey, that she would die no matter what Hiro did because she had an aneurism. Bittersweet. Also? It proves that superpowers can't solve everything. And I LOVED his Back to the Future quote, "Great Scott!" :D Did you catch it,
rjann?
Nikki's storyline helped us get a clearer view of how she got her powers, but didn't really interest me that much, and Matt's didn't really show us anything - I wish it had, I like him! :( Claire's also didn't show us much, but I don't think we had much to know about HER, but about her FATHER.
I liked all scenes with HRG - the call from Suresh that he received, his talk with him, and his over-protectiveness of Claire. Also, Eden's, er, abduction by HRG was intriguing. Liked that.
Suresh storyline was great, because first, we learned more about how the superpowers work - like we suspected from Sylar's attacks and the fact that Claire could only ressurect when they removed that root from her head - it comes from the brain, and second because we saw Sylar.
At first, he was an unsuspecting - and charming - watch maker. I was actually sad to know that he would ultimately become who we know he now is. But then, throughtout the episode and his visits with Suresh, we began to see that he was a bit, well, strange. Obsessed even. Ready to turn psycho on us - which we know he did. I just still don't quite understand his power - and this episode just confused me more.
It was sort of cool to discover that the REAL telekinetic guy wasn't him, even though that meant that he would be killed by Sylar. And the guy didn't want his power! He didn't want TELEKINETIC powers! My gosh, I can't wait to find out what
rjann will have to say about that, he always says he would like to have telekinesis!
And at last but not least, my favorite storyline in this episode - Peter and Nathan. The fact that Nathan suddendly flew for the first time, leaving his wife alone to almost die in a car accident, and making him forever fell guilty about it, was a great insight into his character, but that wasn't the most interesting part about his storyline.
I prefered the rest.
The authors seem to be playing his, er, duplicity for as long - and as far - as they can! Nathan wasn't always a complete bastard - or 100% good for that matter. He worked at the DA office and was hunting the bad guys, like the mob and Linderman! That's good! But then, even if his father was getting his hands dirty by working with Linderman, he was still his father, and Nathan decided to go after Linderman. Granted, after that car accident who wouldn't be after Linderman's heart? But it's like Peter said - he was their father. And that's bad.
Nathan would never forgive himself if he brought his father to ruin - which he sort of did. I still don't know who is telling the truth - did his father died of a heart attack? Did he commited suicide? Or he died because he thought he had a superpower and tried to used - quite similar to Peter? I dunno, but that surely peaked my already high interest on that!
Peter wasn't to far behind his brother in character development - we learned he decided to be a nurse against his father will, that he paid for his study, and that he really had a dream about Nathan's accident - Nathan's wife line about Peter being an empath couldn't be more right. I also liked to see that he reasoned with Nathan against prosecuting Linderman because it would bring their father down, and that he sort of went back in his choice after Linderman tried to kill his brother and sister-in-law. I tend to see him as the righteous brother, and this act could be a sign that he is not all saint - you could argue that their father was bad in the first place for dealing with the mob, but I don't think this is all black and white. It's actually a various number of grey shades... ;)
Anyway, the Petrelli brothers certainly are interesting characters! :P
Now, please, why did you have to remind us how last week ended? And that we still have another WHOLE week to wait until we find out what will happen with DL and Jessica/Niki, and Peter and Claire and her father??
Every week I think Heroes is better than Prison Break, but I have to say that this week, no matter how great both shows were, I think PB was better - probably because it was the last episode before fall break! ;) Then again, with the insights we got on Heroes...it certainly got my mind reeling! Heck, I dunno, both shows were great tonight!
