So, I finished reading it, and it was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo good! I actually stayed awake all night, until about 7AM, reading the book! I couldn't put it down! Only Zahn has this effect on me! ;) Of all SW authors I've read...JKR also has that effect, if I'm well rested, but I think Zahn is a bit more powerful even than Ms Rowling! ;)

Mara's sarcastic tone, Luke being his adorable farmboy but also being there for her and being quite good-humored around her, BECAUSE of her...LOVED IT!

As well as the plot of the book! Only Zahn can get 4/5 groups/people/person with different agendas and wove them and their stories together to pull such a great ending! LOVED IT!

Only thing that bothered me was that I kept thinking that old Jedi at Quarantine was Jinzler's sister, and we never saw her again...or learned what happened to them! Where they released?

AWESOME Book!

SO, when does Outbound Flight Project comes out? January?

Is it 2006 yet? ;)

First, the SQUEE! I'm FINALLY going to be able to read Survivor's Quest! When it came out, I couldn't import it, and, as usual, couldn't find it anywhere here in Brazil...but now that I finally bought it and send it to my boyfriend's brother in San Francisco - because his parents are visiting and can bring the book to me - I find out a not so close friend who has it and is going to let me borrow it! SQUEE! Luke/Mara goodness! XD

Now, for the rant...the first fandom I joined, even before I knew what fandoms were or meant - or perhaps even existed the word fandom - was Superman, because of Christopher Reeve's movies. I watched those, watched Lois & Clark: the new adventures of Superman, read the comics, you name it. So, when there was rumor of a new movie, I was thrilled. When there was confirmation that Bryan Singer would be the director, I was torn between happiness for Superman and saddness for X-Men.

Then there was a certain rumour about a kid, and I was quite upset and worried, but it was just a rumour, and I tried not to think about it. So, when I heard about the Comic Con preview, I just had to watch it, and I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ecstatic with the very few scenes we got to watch on it! After watching it a couple of times, I decided to find out more about that kid...spoilers )

Now, off to read Timothy Zahn's book! That will cheer me up! :D
