I've been working my @$$ off - proof? Since thursday I've worked 72 hours! - and haven't had the time to post - or watch SG-1 for that matter, still on the first half of season 5!

Come on, those of you who know me, can I really be seen as a manipulative and devious person, whose purpose in life we are not sure about? Who sometimes seems to be good and sometimes the villain? COME ON! I wear my heart on my sleeve! I'm very open about myself, I hopeless believe in humanity and people in general - which people say I really shouldn't - and I can NEVER EVER deceive anyone! XD Besides, I'm as much of a geek as Hiro! XD

Hum, Carnaval is upon us once again, which means I have 5 4 days ahead of me to do NOTHING or EVERYTHING else I wanted to while working and couldn't! On wednesday I have a shift at work, but before that - NOTHING! :D XD

I'll probabby visit my cousin - his son was born a few weeks ago and I have yet to meet the little munchkin! - and most likely will try to catch up on a few tv series I've been meaning to watch for a while now... *cofFireflycofHousecofStargatecof*

And I know, I know, I should be studying, but I don't want to mess the living room with my books and notebooks so soon after they were cleaned and fixed by our maid - I'm at least waiting for her to leave!

ETA: I think I *might* have caused permanent damage to mariana_aroeira's love life...and sanity! She just watched BSG 2x08 and can't stop rewatching the dormitory scene! XD

GAH! Headache, a running nose, sneezes, and my whole body hurting. I hate sinusitis. X|

However, I'm feeling a bit better today because I got a 4MB connection! XD YAY!

1. Mara Jade!!! Jen, you KNEW I would start this with her, didn't you? XD Well, why I chose Mara? Because she is my favorite character from the SW EU, because SW was my first declared obsessionfandom, because she kicks some serious ass, because she can fly anything, because she is a Force User who ultimately became a Jedi and then a Jedi Master, because she married Luke Skywalker, and because she was the best person to be with our favorite farmboy! :D

2. Minerva McGonagall. One of my favorite characters from the Harry Potter books - my second declared fandom - and my favorite costume EVER! I love her, her teaching, her obsession with Quidditch, her love for Hogwarts and the students, her bickering with Umbridge! "Want a cough drop, Dolores?" Love that she lent her cane to Peeves to pester Dolores when she left Hogwarts!

3. Moonlighting. Man, I used to LOVE this show as a kid! At that time I didn't understand the concept of fandom - as a matter of fact, I don't think that fandom existed at that time - but I sure loved the show, how Maddie and David used to drive each other insane because they were soooo in love with each other, and all those times David spoke to the audience! Favorite episode was the one with baby!David! PRICELESS! *restraing herself from buying Moonlightning DVDs*

4. Metropolis. City of the newspaper Daily Planet, where the hero Superman works under his alterego, Clark Kent, and where he meet Lois Lane and falls in love with her! My favorite superhero, and soon to be on movie theaters again with Superman Returns! Metropolis is also an awesome classical movie, and the droid from that movie inspired the creation of C3PO, from Star Wars.

5. Mars! No, not the planet Mars - Veronica and Keith Mars! I have to say that I LOVE Keith, even more so than Veronica - she used to bug me a bit in the beginning for some reason, but she grew onto me. :) I love the show, though! ;)

6. Monica! And Chandler! I LOVE THEM! My favorite couple from FRIENDS, and one of my favorite TV shows! I also love her because I can relate to her and her obsessive compulsiveness! Besides, my boyfriend thinks he is as funny as Chandler! ;) XD *kidding, bb* ;)

7. Moulin Rouge! One of my favorite movies ever, with one of the most charming, fantastic, talented and handsome actors ever, Ewan McGregor! It's such a great romantic movie, and I love it despite its tragic ending - and I'm a sucker for sappy, happy endings! ;) Satine and Christian's love story is simply spetacular, come what may!

8. Mr. Darcy. Gotta love him, be it Fitzwilliam Darcy from the Jane Austen novel Pride and Prejudice, or Mark Darcy, from Ellen Fielding Bridget Jones diaries! However I have to admit that my favorite incarnation in flesh and bone of him is Colin Firth - in both stories! ;)

9. Mary McDonnell The actress that portrays Laura Roslin, President of the Twelve Colonies = well, what's left of them - in the TV Series BattleStar Galactica! YAY! I managed to put BSG on this! It was hard, I couldn't think of any characters whose names began with an M, until I started going through the actors names! ;) My favorite characters are Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, Lee "Apollo" Adama, William Adama and Laura Roslin! OH, and the Viper are WAY cool! ;)

10. Mother. Mother's day is on the way, and even though my mother will probably never see this - she doesn't like the internet much - I'd like to shout out "I LOVE YOU, MOM!" She is a great mother, one of the best, she not only does everything which is expected of a mother to do, but she also does everything we ask of her, and everything she does is thiking of us. Yes, even though she sometimes drives me crazy when she starts complaining about me, or trying to make my life decisions for me and such, or intrudes too much in my life, I do love her! :)

So, I *FINALLY* formatted my computer...it needed a "new life", so full of stuff it was, and I finally did it, much to rjann's glee, since he has been asking me to do it since we started dating, almost three years ago! ;)

After last weekend's Veronica Mars mini-marathon, I continued - or rather, went backwards XD because I saw episodes 1 thru 10 - with a new mini-marathon, this time with dtissagirl and jujubinha - who I just added to my f-list, btw! ;) *waves*

It's a great series, totally addictive! Even though Veronica annoys me - yes, she does. I thought so last weekend, but didn't want to voice my feelings before watching more, and now I'm certain of it. She annoys me sometimes. Especially in the flashblacks, when she looks like a Barbie Doll! ;) But even so, I like the show! And I TOTALLY love her dad! "Who is your daddy?" LOL!! And Weevil! He is a GREAT character and a great personality/character analyzer - or whatever it's called. I like him. :) He is sort of a bad boy, except he totally isn't! :D

So, now, I'm only 5 episodes away from the end of Season 1 - I skipped a few unimportant ones, but I do intend on watching them afterwards - and since I already have the last five here, thanks to dtissagirl...talk to you guys later! ;)

1. From LOTR:FOTR, the scene when Boromir dies. I hated his character in the books, was mad because one of my favorite actors, Sean Bean, was cast as him, but fell in love with the character in my first viewing of the movie. AND his death scene? I cried so hard I was pratically choking!

I know, I didn't chose a HP scene, because I haven't watched GoF yet, and we are still 3 movies short! But, I guess I could say two scenes: Ron and Hermione's kiss almost hug ackward handshake and Remus and Sirius brotherly lovers hug! ;)
